Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 876! We are a BSA Troop dedicated to girls aged 11 to 17 who like to camp, make friends, learn, and challenge themselves.

Scouting is all about adventure, family, leadership, and especially fun!

BSA strives to build a better future for your child by teaching them skills they'll carry with them into adulthood.

Our motto - Be Prepared - applies not only to the practical skills your scout will learn, but also the leadership and teamwork skills that will prepare them for the future.

It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Accotink Bay District Training Opportunity- Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS)

Posted on May 22 2025 - 8:15am
I would strongly encourage adults from our Troop to sign up for Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) if they have not taken it. It is very helpful and useful training and required to be an Assistant Scoutmaster. Please see the information below/attached.

Thank you,
Mr. Runnels

Hello everyone,

Your most recent Scoutbucks balance can now be found online at the link below:

This balance includes your 2024 balance, the most recent fruit basket sales contributions, and total balance.  Scouts are already requesting funds to use for the ski trip, so that is noted as well.  If you have any questions, please email the treasurer at treasurer@troop876g.org and copy a 2nd adult for Youth Protection purposes.

Thank you,
