Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 876! We are a BSA Troop dedicated to girls aged 11 to 17 who like to camp, make friends, learn, and challenge themselves.

Scouting is all about adventure, family, leadership, and especially fun!

BSA strives to build a better future for your child by teaching them skills they'll carry with them into adulthood.

Our motto - Be Prepared - applies not only to the practical skills your scout will learn, but also the leadership and teamwork skills that will prepare them for the future.

It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Adults Volunteers Needed to Help Plan Upcoming Campouts

Posted on Jun 8 2023 - 10:03am

Troop 876 is looking for adult volunteers to help plan for upcoming campouts. If you are a parent that has not done this before, we will pair you with an experienced adult. Your role is typically to help to ensure that we have a plan for the campout, manage sign-ups, permission slips, medical forms, ensure we have adequate transportation, mentor scouts planning the campout, etc. It is a great way to learn how the Troop operates. If you are interested, please reach out to Mr. Runnels or Mr. Call to answer questions and volunteer.

Starting June 13th at 6:30 pm, Mrs. Stankiewicz will be leading a Family Life Merit Badge class.

Forms A and B medical forms are required for all Scouts and Adults who plan to participate with the troop on outings and Form C for anyone going to Camp (Adults and Scouts). Scouts going to Northern Tier should print the form from Northern Tier as it has an informational sheet regarding the extra challenges of going on a high adventure trip.
